B.A.M is an instrumental trio operating at the crossroads of jazz, soul, funk, and early fusion. Through strong melodies, groovy rhythms, and attentive interplay, the band creates music that is both accessible and musically adventurous.

The trio consists of Arvid Almqvist on drums, Jons Berglund on bass, and Neo Merkel on guitar. Drawing inspiration from the pioneers of fusion while allowing their own musical personalities to shape the sound, they create a modern and distinctive musical expression.

Their music is characterized by melodic strength, improvisation, and a strong sense of dynamics and storytelling. The repertoire consists primarily of instrumental compositions where the warmth of soul meets the freedom of jazz and the energy of fusion. Occasionally, the band expands its sound through collaborations with guest vocalists.

B.A.M offers a live experience centered on musical joy, presence, and communication – a journey through grooves, textures, and melodies rooted in the classic fusion tradition.
